Today I want to play a gaming guessing game. The best selling games can come as a shock. We’ll look at the 5 top gaming categories about. I’m all exited. Like when viewing my Starcraft 2 T shirt.

It’s time to get sporty. A really massive genre here. Will it be Fifa. Everybody’s golf. I don’t fancy the chances of pub games classic. No. Sports for the wii is champ. The originals may be classics but they haven’t got the top spot here.
Who do you think it will be in the shooters. There’s only going to be a couple of choices here. It will be a computer original one. Bugs and glitches. Perhaps a James Bond. Wide of the mark. Really it’s Halo 3.
Here we go. RPGs are in the plentiful. Core crisis. A world beater. The awesome SC. Almost. Nintendos Pokemon are the top sellers.

What do we have next. Time for Puzzle. Jenga is unlikely to feature. There’s only one true champ here. It has to be. Best of the best. Tetris. Truly awesome.
Ok it’s time to put them up. Time for an ultimate jumping backward spinning perfect combo. There’s lots and lots of choices. Street Fighter Alpha is always going to be a good bet. Heavy weight champ for the boxing fans. It’s smash bros. Kind of a let down.
Did you honestly expect those to be the top earners. Mobile phone games will be up there pretty soon. But until then it looks like a fierce battle to the top.
A few interesting one’s I wasn’t expecting. Did you get them all right. The big N still roosting the big sales. I am sure there will be big changes ahead. It’s just a matter of time before the online platforms rule completely. Its a fact. However good Starcraft 2 book and it’s comrades may be, you can’t beat the classics.
